This looney character is following the mold of John Boehner.
John Boehner (R-OH) joked that women decide to have abortions because they find their pregnancies inconvenient, during his address at the Values Voter Summit this morning. “Like I told you, I have 11 brothers and sisters, my mother had us one at a time,” Boehner said. “I’m sure it wasn’t convenient for her. But I’m glad they’re all here.”

He's also the guy that told the press "if at first we don't secede, try try again" - He once tried to claim the insurance for state employees was "state-funded abortions" - and staged three significant delays on votes that delayed our state budget authorizations in 2011 using that claim.
