Could Tax Filing Season Be Considered 'Special Event' in Georgetown?

The latest in Georgetown involves a sign ordinance, a dressed-up Statute of Liberty and the letting go of jobs.

But the question I haven't seen or heard asked is whether or not tax filing season could be considered a "special event" under the City of Georgetown's sign ordinance.

Tucker said the ‘waver’ can be used by Liberty, at least on a temporary basis, is it is used to promote a sale or special event within the business. In that case, the business can apply for a temporary permit that will allow the ‘waver.’

Maybe instead of firing people outright further investigating the issue would have been more logical. From January to April is "temporary" in my view. Hopefully this post will further the discussion.
