Hello, friends. I wanted to express my sincere thanks for being loyal readers of this liberal blog which makes no apologies for standing up for the people of South Carolina who've had enough of the identity politics and GOP framing of issues to distort facts to control all state offices except for one.
I come to you today in efforts to help the South Carolina Democratic Party raise money for the 2010 state elections. This is a very important time for us, and I am reaching out to people in the state of South Carolina and beyond.
I am fed up with the lack of leadership this state has had for years. We've allowed this to happen. By not fully understanding what the GOP has really been doing for the decades they've held power we've become victims to their ideology and pandering. Look at how much we are suffering - in public education and health care for example.
Our governor thinks it's more important to visit the people in Poland and discuss job opportunities for their people rather than fix the economy and apply full usage of the stimulus funds in South Carolina. What a shame.
I could go on and on... But I really want you to find it in your heart and spare time to contribute just $5 to the SCDP. Click the top-right button above and help us fight off the GOP efforts to dominate its people yet again in 2010.
These are tough times across our country. It is especially tough in South Carolina. I ask for $5 to be donated to our Party in hopes of seeing true leadership take office and steer this state onto the right track. The people of South Carolina deserve it.
